The director and founder of Dermacaribe, Dr. Kristian Eichelmann, graduated as a Médico Cirujano Partero (Physician and Obstetrician) from the Facultad de Medicina de la Universidad Autónoma de Nuevo León (UANL), and completed his specialization studies in the Servicio de Dermatología del Hospital Universitario “Dr. José Eleuterio González.” He also holds a subspecialty in Dermatological Surgery (Cirugía Dermatológica) completed at the same Hospital. Currently, he is a certified member of the Consejo Mexicano de Dermatología (Mexican Board of Dermatology), an active member of the Academia Mexicana de Dermatoscopía (Mexican Academy of Dermatoscopy), and a Full Member (Miembro Numerario) of the Academia Mexicana de Dermatología (Mexican Academy of Dermatology). Dr. Eichelmann has participated in continuing education courses and congresses in Mexico and the United States. Furthermore, he has collaborated in several specialized journals and has participated with lectures and scientific presentations nationally and internationally.
